- I received my new boots earlier this week. I love them! Mine are black because I know they will get abused and black is easiest to shine/buff. The leather is thick but soft and the inside has a small amount of padding that makes them warm. Now I will admit that without a zipper it took me a bit to get used to sliding my foot into the boot. They feel great once their on but getting them on can be a challenge at first. However, they are worth it because once on, they look and feel great!
